Bob Dylan Appears in Ads for Victoria's Secret
LOS ANGELES — Hey, Mr. Tamborine Man will play a song, and play along, in a Victoria's Secret lingerie ad on TV featuring Bob Dylan and scantily clad, lingerie models.
For his entire career, Dylan has heretofore refused to sell out and do commercials, apart from allowing Apple computer to once use his face in a print ad.
"He looks bad enough in a bra, but seeing him in a thong was just disturbing," said one Dylan fan.
"I told them the bras would not look good on me, but they insisted," said Dylan. "I thought they just wanted my music, or me singing, but they wanted my body."
Now the advertising agency for Depends is after him.
