Bush Shocks Leaders at APEC Summit
BANGKOK Looking more like a Chinese warlord than an American President, George Bush meet with leaders of the Pacific Rim nations at the APEC summit held in Bangkok last week.
Wearing vibrant, Thai silk shirts, the leaders stood side by side, but no one stood out more than President Bush, who apparently decided to go native and have his hair done in oriental fashion.
"Laura helped me with it," said the President. "Don't it look great! All's it took was some of that Grecian Formula stuff and some Royal Crown Hair Pomade. Laura thought up the idea of using the chopsticks we had left over from dinner."
The President of Mexico, Vincente Fox, said he almost didn't recognize Bush when he first came into the room. "I thought he was one of the waiters," laughed Fox. "It is all supposed to be a joke, yes?"
There was no comment from the Thai and Chinese delegations.
