Michael Jackson Feels a Little Prick
SANTA MARIA, California After a comical case presented by prosecutors, in which most of the prosecution witnesses supported Michael Jackson, the defense case got going last week in the Jackson trial, with most of the defense witnesses supporting the prosecution's case.
One of Michael Jackson's former houseguests, now 21, was called to the witness stand by the defense. He gave testimony about the time, when he was 12, he was walking barefoot around the Neverland Ranch with Jackson, having an innocent time riding on the merry-go-round, eating popcorn, and drinking wine.
He remembered stepping on a rusty nail and starting to cry.
He told the court that Jackson tried to comfort him and told him not to worry, that he would call his personal physician and that the doctor would come over to the ranch and give him a tetanus shot.
But the boy said he began to wail even louder because he was terrified of needles.
He said Jackson tried to calm him down, telling him he would only feel a little prick.
The boy said OK, so Jackson felt it, and that took the boy's mind completely off the pain.
