Mike Tyson Accused of Biting Lennox Lewis
NEW YORK — Former world heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, was accused of biting the current heavyweight champion, Lennox Lewis, on the leg during a brawl at a press conference.
Tyson was banned from boxing for a year after biting off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear during their 1997 title fight. His latest chomping action will complicate his attempt to become licensed to fight Lewis in Nevada in April.
When asked why he did it, Tyson said, "It was lunch time and I was hungry".
